Beautiful drawing, finely made, representing a mother and her child in Turkey.


A native of Vannes, unrelated to the ROUX family of Marseille, he had a great career in the navy, finishing at the rank of admiral. He participated in the Salon from 1869 to 1870 with watercolors made during his travels.


Dimensions : 10.5 x 16.2 cm without its frame and 27.5 x 21.5 cm with its modern golden frame
