This came from an Estate Sale here in East Texas. Could not find artist name, may be on inside, but back has paper over it, and did not think it was a good idea to open it. Any info would be appreciated.

The picture itself has been matted and framed.

Overall it measures about 17" by 21". I have two other oil field pictures like this that I will be listing also.

Upon the discovery of a high-producing oil well in the city in 1926, Seminole transformed from a town of 854 to a boom town of 25,000 to 30,000 residents.

Seminole County has been an important part of the Oklahoma and United States petroleum industry for over 80 years. The Greater Seminole Field was one of the most important oil fields ever found and is still producing. Discovered one field after another in 1926, it contained an estimated 822,000,000 barrels
