I put in sale this section of natural rubber tube useful to create washers, designed to replace well-worn phonograph and gramophone motor support. Because talking machine motors are not directly fixed on wood or metal. 

A little washer is intercalated between each point of fixation of the motor and the case of the machine. Avoid all vibrations, and parasyte noise. After more than 100 years, these washers are hard like rock and are useless.

This tube must be cut thanks to a scroll saw, a metalic saw or a very sharpened blade. Before cutting, you must verify the thickness of the original rubber support. If not, the axis of the crank or the speed regulator can be displaced. 

Sell in section of 2” (5cm). Enough to replace all the washers on a motor.
