In On Her Majesty's Secret Service, Bond see's his wife Tracy for the first time driving the Mercury Cougar when she passes him on the coastal road near Guincho Beach. During the main car chase down treacherous, icy mountain roads, Tracy tried to shake off her pursuers which ultimately damaged her car. Here, the Mercury Cougar model replicates the very moment it was damaged from its hot pursuit.
