Intercosmos (International Space)

 was a Soviet space program that allowed cosmonauts and organizations of countries friendly to the USSR to participate in space research. In addition to manned launches under the Interkosmos program, satellite launches were carried out. The organization was established in 1966 and ceased to exist in 1991 after collapsed the USSR.
