This is a rare autographed August 8th, 1961 playbill from the Summer Stock engagement of the LEONARD BERNSTEIN, BETTY COMDEN and ADOLPH GREEN musical comedy "ON THE TOWN" at the Westbury Music Fair in Westbury, New York. (The Original Broadway production opened December 28th, 1944 at New York's Adelphi Theatre and ran for 462 performances.) ..... The musical starred PAT CARROLL (who signed the front cover) as "Hildy" and featured KELLY BROWN, JANE ROMANO, JIM KIRKWOOD, JERRY STILLER, ETHELYNE DUNFEE, LOUIS GUSS, ELAINE SWANN, JEAN BRUNO, VIRGIL CURRY, LILA HERBERT, VILMA VACCARO, WENDELL GRAY, MARVIN SOLLEY, ROCHELLE ROSS and BILLY ROLLO ..... CONDITION: With the exception of soiling and minor creasing along the top and light edge wear, this rare playbill is in excellent condition and will make a wonderful addition to the collection of any musical theatre aficionado or historian.
