This is a rare ticket envelope and two loose ticket stubs from the October 3rd, 1963 performance of the Pre-Broadway tryout of the TOM JONES and HARVEY SCHMIDT musical "110 IN THE SHADE" at the Shubert Theatre in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. (The production would open October 24th, 1963 at the Broadhurst Theatre in New York City and run for 330 performances.) ..... The musical starred ROBERT HORTON, INGA SWENSON and STEPHEN DOUGLASS and featured seventeen year-old LESLEY (Ann) WARREN (in what would be her Broadway debut), WILL GEER, STEVE ROLAND, SCOOTER TEAGUE and GEORGE CHURCH ..... CREDITS: Music by HARVEY SCHMIDT; Lyrics by TOM JONES (Schmidt and Jones are the songwriting team responsible for "The Fantasticks", "Celebration", "I Do! I Do!" and "Colette"); Book by N.
