HAND PAINTED SOUTH AFRICAN OSTRICH EGG "LEOPARDS" BY MINIVER

Gorgeous ostrich egg from South Africa that was hand painted by an artist named, "Miniver".

Description that came with the egg states: "...sold to Miniver who painted me, decoupaged me and put 50 coats of varnish (by hand) onto my shell" (see photo above).

Egg stands just over 6" tall, about 5" wide. The egg  comes with a very attractive stand. Can't tell the composition of the stand, but resembles bone. Hand carved? Not sure, but looks awesome.
