Released in 2007 by the Robert Tonner doll company exclusively for FAO Schwarz, and officially licensed by Marvel.
Remarkable in every detail, this collectible 16" tall doll is sculptured figure of Peter Parker, as brought to life by Tobey Maguire in Spiderman 3.
Comes in a big suitcase/trunk.
The Peter Parker doll is dressed in his casual street clothes - jeans, jacket, black shoes and shirt. But waiting inside his beautifully made suitcase/trunk, hanged nicely on a closet-like poll, are the 2 suits that swing him into superhero mode - the classic red and blue suit, and the black Spiderman suit.
Also included is a display stand and Certificate of Authenticity.
From what I know they never numbered them, but the certificate does show that it is one of only 150 pieces that were made worldwide. (See pic)
Trunk is about 18.5" tall. Big and heavy.
The doll and all its accessories are completely new and NEVER been displayed or taken out of the trunk! The suits are still attached to the back card in the trunk! Even his rooted hair and face are still protected and covered by the original safety net!
The doll and both suits are in new/mint condition, but the original large trunk does shows some minor wear from storage only, so no major damage! All hinges and closure clasp are still new and in tact. The only imperfections to the box that I can see are few scratches/scuffs. Please don't expect the box to be perfect.
I bought this doll directly from a comics collectors store in San Francisco back in 2008.
