Fil Katia is a premier yarn producer from Spain, and they produce a wide array of discriminating fashion yarns. This particular yarn has a fairly unique construction that results in a yarn with nice loft that produces soft and airy fabrics. The yarn is made from a net style tube that is filled with loose fiber. There are a number of other yarns on the market that have the same construction such as Painted Mist, but this one is a far superior product. The tube is evenly filled for a smoother product. This yarn is identical to Cotton Merino and Cotton Merino Plus except in the dying technique used. A speckled gradient color pattern is the result in this yarn.
