This yarn is constructed in a chainette fashion, and it contains a metallic thread for a soft sparkle that really makes this yarn stunning.   Each 100 gram skein has 251 yards of yarn and consists of 49% acrylic, 39% polyester, and 12% wool.  In spite of its synthetic fiber content, it is soft to the touch, and the metallic thread isn't the least bit scratchy.  This yarn sells for $12 a skein.  Up to 4 skeins will ship first class, 5 or more will ship priority mail.  

Knitting Gauge:16-20 stitches over 4 inches on US size 7-9 needles
