From Verde Veronica CLEOPATRA: this beige embroidered mesh double string sided thong, Style Cleopatra Sabbia MOD. S CA35, is a low rise hipster thong with a pale green satin fine bow at the top of the centre front. The front has a V shaped sheer mesh panel down over the lining of the gusset to the back gusset seam with a band of beige embroidery rising over the top of the front panel with open interlocking half circles. The back thong stem runs from the back waistband down to the back gusset seam and there are similar beige embroidered open interlocking semi-circles at the top of the back.
The front has a band of small tendrils in beige with beige leaves and cream stylised cream flowers, below these are beige botehs or also known as a Paisley patterns, and other Egyptian symbols, these are embroidered in beige on the beige net and are outlined in cream stitching and cream repeat circles joined at the bottom. Below these the mesh is sheer but the beige cotton of the gusset comes up some of the way up the front to act as a modesty panel. There is a narrow beige band of elastic just inside the top to support the mesh and the embroidery above and keep it in place, leaving a pretty pattern against the skin. The fine pale green satin ribbon bow, sewn to the centre top is long so the bow has large loops and long tails which hang down.
The front leg sides, the sides of the gusset and the thong stem all have their sides turned in and secured with small beige zig zag stiching. The gusset of the thong is lined with beige Jersey cotton. The double string sides are in elasticated beige oval strands and are sewn inside the top edges of the front mesh panel and inside the top edges of the V shaped mesh panel at the top of the back, narrowing down to form the thong stem. The back mesh top of the thong stem has similar embroidery to that which runs across the front panel and below the embroidery the beige mesh is plain down to the back gusset seam.
The fabric is 55%Viscose 25%Polyammide 15%Polyester 5%Cotton and this may be machine or hand washed at 30 degrees, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. New and unused. Styled in Italy. The retail price was £28.00. The matching preformed and soft cup bras are listed separately.
