ATTENTION! Brand new development! The Made in Germany Floyd Rose Originals in chrome and gold no longer have the "Made In Germany" stamp on the bottom of the baseplate!!! This is the case in the newest production run in 2023. Floyd Rose has posted this in the "NEWS" section on their website so buyers can rest assured that they are in fact getting a German made Floyd Rose and they detail what you can look at on the unit to prove it is in fact a German made Floyd Rose Original. "On the latest production runs of the Floyd Rose Original Tremolo, the "Made in Germany" stamp on the bottom has been removed from the base plate by the factory. If you purchase an Original tremolo from an authorized reseller without this marking, rest assured that this is still the same heat-treated hardened steel Original Tremolo.

For easy identification of the FRO, look for the newer CNC-made Original saddles (with rounded inside edges) and new-style housing with built-in allen wrench adjustment."
