This absolutely stunning clear glass/crystal dove is an ornament to bring peace, calm and elegance to wherever you choose to find the best place for display. While it could be used as a paperweight, it is quite large and is possibly better utilised as a stand alone ornament, or as part of a creative vignette. Perhaps display it as the centrepiece of a coffee or side table, or keep is perched on high on a mantelpiece.  Wherever you finally select its home, you and your guests will be admiring this gorgeouus art glass piece for many years to come.

The dove is also an extremely tactile piece and you may find yourself holding or stroking its cool smooth curves as you relax and contemplate life.

This was actually a gift to me and I still absolutely adore it, but there are genuine reasons why it's time for someone else to own this exquisite piece. Although I don't actually know its country of origin, the design and flair with which it has been hand blown, and its extremely generous weight, leads me to feel that it must have come from either France or, perhaps, Murano, Venice.

I wish the lucky new owner many hours relaxing and admiring this truly beautiful designer ornament or caressing its curves and coolness.

The item will be shipped express, insured with track and trace and signature on delivery. It is, as I said, a very weighty piece, requiring careful packing, so my apologies that the postage and insurance are not inexpensive.

All our items are sent via Australia Post Express delivery due to their policy of investigating missing items. With Express Post they will begin an investigation (if necessary) on the 7th day from posting. Standard Postage items will not be investigated for 30 days. It has, therefore, become company policy to use Express as so many of our items are high to very high quality, therefore not cheap. Everything we send is also fully insured and requires a signature upon delivery.

If you are not home at the time of delivery, they will leave a notification card informing you of attempted delivery and that the item will be awaiting collection at a nearby post office.

**Please note that we only charge the exact cost of the shipping that we get charged.  For example the domestic cost of shipping this item with insurance will be: $2.95 signature, $24.50 - if it sells at full price - for insurance and $12 for domestic shipping = $39.45 and that doesn't include the shipping material or boxes, yet we have only put a figure of $35 for shipping.  We just like to explain because we think most buyer don't understand why shipping seems to cost so much.  International buyers can extrapolate the shipping and insurance portion and can imagine how much more expensive that will be.
