Please check your truck user manual to make sure your truck ECU is in compliance with J1939, J1708 and J1587 protocols. Generally for heavy duty trucks ( Class4-Class8) after 1998. Please let us know your truck information if you are not sure whether this scanner is compatible with your truck or not.
For some private protocols like from FUSO and VOLVO, your vehicles may not allow you to do reset functions like DPF with tools like RD901. Please let us know if you find your RD901 says" cannot communicate", and we will be happy to assist.
