Antique tribal handwoven red and black wool rug with white accents .
 
   * Hand woven - one of a kind
   * 42" x 65"
   * Rectilinear design often associated with nomadic or village weaving.
   * Knot Density approx 50 kpsi
   * Wool pile and foundation
   * Wefts are died grey
   * Pile length approx.5/16"        
   * Origins somewhere in the oriental rug belt but difficult to tell the exact age or location.
   * One end has tassled warps and other end has been trimmed without any further action.
      *May have originally been 3 or more instead of just 2 central medallions. This cut edge should be reinforced by an expert to insure it's longevity.
   * Except for this one defect the rest of rug is in very condition.
