Kid Phonics 2 introduces children to phonics through several different activities introduced by the animated characters Tweed, Mumpher, Boogie, his sister Baby Boogie, Rhyma, and Miggles.

Each character has their own activity, from the Jailhouse Decoder with Mumpher, which has children unscrambling word phonics, to Rhyma's Homonym Hotel, where three old timers use sentences with several homonyms in succession.

There is also the Dance Hall, where children can hear all the characters play and sing about words and phonics. Two of the activities, the General Store and the Wild West Times, can be inter-linked, so that the sentences the children build from the objects at the General Store can be plugged in to the headlines or newspaper, then printed out on your home computer's printer.
