ARTIST
STATEMENT: “Art is the Purest Form of Emotion.”
Lori Clark was born
December 28, 1970 in Long Beach, California and has always lived in Long Beach.
Her education in Long Beach and the
surrounding areas not only cultivated her love of the rich local art found
there but also developed her love of art history.
Lori has learned to
express herself artistically in many different mediums including oil, acrylic,
watercolor, graphite, pastels and charcoal. She has also recently
developed a passion for designing her own jewelry. A collection of her jewelry
designs are currently on display at the Wellsprings Wellness Center Studios
located in Seal Beach, CA.
She is a member of The Long Beach Arts Council
and has participated in numerous Long Beach based events such as Bixby Knolls
First Fridays where she sketched and painted live for passers-by numerous
times. She has been showing her artwork
and jewelry at the Long Beach Gallery EXPO in their month long shows since
2012. Lori has displayed a great number
of paintings and drawings in local galleries, such as The Long Beach EXPO, Picture
This Gallery and at Greenly Art Space. Las Laguna Gallery, Laguna Beach showed
her work in October and November 2017.
