the shield body is fully made of iron,
with twice a concave shape at the front, conflex at the back
attached to a wooden pole, twined with leather straps and a piece of hide for hand protection,
the grip on the back is firm,
straps holding the pole and grip go through the shield to the front as attachement,
making a decorative element on the frontside,
