mo-BUTTON

mo-BUTTON for mo-UNIT digital command center

Another motogadget innovation: the m.button.
It is of great help - in combination with the new m.unit blue and m.unit v.2 - to reduce cable clutter and simplify wiring.

Integrated into the handlebar tube - or any other suitable location - this tiny cylinder will electrically connect all the handlebar gauges, switches and buttons.
Using state-of-the-art bus technology, m.button digitally processes the signals and transmits them to m.unit blue or m.unit v.2 via a thin cable.
The electrical consumers will then be switched inside the unit m.
All control cables are moved to the handlebar. This saves space, weight, labor and time. A "must have" for custom bikes with clean look handlebars.

In simple facts:
a) normally the operating current (eg. headlights or turn signals) is transmitted directly via the switch harness to the handlebar. Due to the high currents, cables with large cross-sections must be routed from the fuse box to the circuit breaker and back to the electrical consumer.
The result: large bundles of cables. Definitely a 'no go' for custom bikes with limited space or hidden electrical system.

b) using the unit m. without the m button, you need to route to the m drive. only one thin cable for each switch or button controlled function. These cables carry only minimal control currents. All loads and high currents are switched directly to the m unit. and transmitted directly to electrical users. This already leads to a significant reduction and simplification of wiring. Wiring diagrams with and without the m button available in the other information tab!

c) by using m.unit blue or m.unit v.2 in combination with the tiny m. button, you will once again reduce the amount of cables that need to be routed! All switches / buttons on the handlebar are connected to the shortest distance possible and hidden inside the handlebar. As a result, you will only need to route ONE thin cable from the m button to the m drive. All loads and currents will be switched directly to m.unit blue or m.unit v.2 (see explanations above). A layout reduced to the maximum! Wiring diagrams with and without the m button available in the other information tab!

The m.button is fully shaped, which makes it waterproof and resistant to vibrations.
