From Versidissima, Style 31H LF32, this mid to high rise, deep lace short in Rosa Antico - CHERISH: the sheer antique rose floral lace with embroidered roses with green stems around the bottom of the front legs with a few scattered embroidered sprays of roses a little higher up from the bottom, is very feminine. At the back the floaty shorts are in two panels of rose coloured, sparkly mesh down to the mid gusset seam. The front two panel of this short are lined with antique rose coloured mesh so the lace has more body and this also stops the back of the embroidery from showing inside. Both the front and back have central vertical seams and from the waist band there are side seams two inches down from the top then the sides are loose.
The waist band is formed from a medium band of peach flat elastic which covers the top of the front inside mesh. The outer antique rose lace is turned under and is secured with large pink zig-zag stitches. The back waistband has the same flat peach elastic and the sparkly mesh is turned in at the top and sewn in place with large zig-zag stitches.
The lower front hip sides have the lace turned in and sewn in place with a single row of peach stitching so that it can float. The embroidery along the bottom finishes with soft waves against the skin, the inner mesh lining finishes just over a centimetre from the bottom and is sewn in place with tiny zig-zag stitches. The side and bottom of the back sparkly mesh is oversewn with antique rose stitching so that the edges wave in a soft way. The gusset has an antique rose coloured Jersey cotton lining, in an oval shape, secured to the inside of the seams.
The fabric is 80%Polyamide 15%Viscosa 5%Elastane and please machine or hand wash this short at 30 degrees, no iron, dry cleaning, tumble drying or bleach. New and unused, Styled in Italy. The retail price was £19.50.
