Korean 19th Century Joseon Dynasty Black Coin Box "Witdaji". Here is a very fine example of well used 19th century coin chest with what appears to be an old native repairs in multiple places.

Kept in storage for over 50 years.

Provenance: Private collection from South Korea, brought to the U.S. in the early 80's. Part of large private collection of Korean furniture purchased during missionary mission in Korea from 1940's to early 1980's. 

This item was stored in a storage since early 1980 so they are not always in clean. It's been collecting dust but I did clean up as much as possible without damaging the item. 

Item is in good condition overall with old native repair, wear, loss of lacquer, chipped, discoloration, smudges and loss of wood.
