dragon—the most auspicious animal on land or sea, according to the
Japanese. Because of it's actual ability to swim upstream (and,
evidently, even climb up the waterfalls!) Koi fish symbolise tenacity
and strength in Japanese culture. Their power to persevere in the face of adversity makes them symbols of aspiration, strength of spirit and good fortune ahead. Screen printed in England.
