Intended Use: UltraClarity Water Filter Cartridges are intended for use in filtering potable water and have not been evaluated for other uses.
Protect from freezing, remove the filter cartridge when temperatures are expected to drop below 33oF (0.6oC). Do no install on hot water supply lines. The maximum operating temperature of this filter is 100oF (37.8oC). Do not install if water pressure exceeds 120 psi (827 kPa). If water pressure exceeds 80 psi (552 kPa) then a pressure limiting valve must be installed. Do not install where water hammer conditions may occur. If water hammer conditions exist, a water hammer arrested must be installed.

This is a chemical/mechanical reduction filter.
Service Life: 6 Months
Tested and certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 42: Aesthetic Effects and Standard 53: Health Effects for the reduction of Chlorine Taste & Odour, Nominal Particulates Class I, Cysts*, Turbidity.
*Based on the use of Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts.
The concentration of the indicated substances in water entering the system was reduced to a concentration less then or equal to the permissible limit for water leaving the system as specified in NSF/ANSI Standard 42 and Standard 53.
It is essential that the manufacturer's recommended installation, maintenance and filter replacement requirements be carried out for this product to perform as specified.
Note: While the testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance my vary.
Do not use with water that is micro-biologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection before or after the system.
This disposable filter cartridge MUST be replaced every 6 months, at the rated capacity, or sooner if a noticeable reduction in flow rate occurs.
