Up for Buy-It-Now is a new old stock starter drive housing, Auto-Lite part PS-1185. This item was obtained from an old service garage and is not a newly remanufactured part. According to my Auto-Lite manual, this is used on the following models and years:
1942 Plymouth...Model P14 Deluxe 6 & Special Deluxe 6, w/ original Auto-Lite starter number MZ-4105
The housing is in brand new, never used condition and is free of any cracks or damage. There are a few spots of very minor surface rust from many year of shelf storage. May or may not need a light polishing up before installation. Cast on the piece is PS-1185 and the vintage Auto-Lite symbol. There is also a parts tag on the piece, but the numbers are on it are faded and unable to read.
