Art Deco Long Hat Pin, Ebony, Chrome, Burgundy.

I bought this hatpin at an antique show more than 30 years ago. I was attracted to its strong modern lines that remind me of New York’s Art Deco buildings. I believe the black part is ebony, there is a discernible wood grain. I think the silver is chromed plastic and the black ball on the top and the burgundy rings are some form of early plastic. They do not pass the Simichrome test, they are not Bakelite. It is 8” long and about 3/4” at its widest. Ships with USPS first class mail.
