On sale is this 1763 edition of „Théâtre et oeuvres diverses“ by Charles-François Panard.

Charles-François Panard, or Pannard, (2 November 1689– 13 June 1765) was an 18th-century French poet, chansonnier, playwright and goguettier.

Four small octavo volumes (17 by 10.5 cms) in contemporary full leather mottled calf bindings. Gilt spines with red morocco title-labels, marbled endpapers, with engraved frontispiece portrait of the author, woodcut title-vignettes and woodcut head- and endpieces.

Spines with some rubbing to various degrees. Small split to the side of vol. 4 (see last photo). Otherwise, good condition considering age. Lovely patina, books display wonderfully on the shelf .
