*insert shady rattlesnake noise here* Rrrococococo!!

You can iron this iconic shade button patch onto anything and take it anywhere you need a dose of Shade~. Live your Jantasy. (This is a fanart patch and does not replicate the inspired product.) Made with polyester thread on white poly-cotton blend fabric with heavyweight stabilizer. Choose from iron-on backing or no backing (sew-on), and from two sizes:

Small- 3" diameter
Large- 3 7/8" diameter

Due to the way this patch is designed and the radiating stitches, it may turn out wavy. This is only natural and can be combated by ironing the patch from the back.

Each patch is made to order, by me and cut out by hand. Please allow up to 5 business days for processing. Thank you for reading!

Iron-on instructions:

You will need: a household iron, ironing board, and parchment paper

1. Preheat your iron to medium heat for five minutes. Do not use steam setting.

2. Peel the paper liner off the back of your patch to expose the adhesive backing, and set patch aside.

3. Cut out a piece of parchment paper big enough to protect the patch and material from the hot iron. If you apply the iron directly to the embroidery, the polyester thread will melt and you will scorch your garment.

4. Place patch adhesive-side down onto garment in desired location, then cover it with the parchment paper. The adhesive can only be used once!

5. Press and hold iron firmly on the entire patch (or in sections) for 6 to 8 seconds, depending on the material (for cotton, 8 seconds; for lighter fabrics, 6 seconds). Do not move the iron. Repeat across entire patch if necessary until completely heated.

6. Let patch cool completely before moving the garment. You may want to carefully hold the edges of the patch as it cools. If any edges come up, flip garment over and iron patch edges from the back for an additional 2 to 3 seconds. Once again use parchment paper to protect garment.

7. Your patch is ironed on! Enjoy!

It's recommended to hand or machine stitch patches down for lifelong security. This iron-on backing is not meant to be a permanent adhesive, rather to hold the patch on so you can sew it down. Adhesive will not stick to certain fabrics like leather and fabrics made mostly of plastic. If you wish to launder the garment with the patch, wash in delicate cold and tumble dry, low heat. Do not dry clean.
