 Square and sharp Tight and flat with only subtle bindery defects allowed Flat with no surface wear, inks bright and reflective White, only slightest tears allowed

Near Mint

 Square and sharp with very slight blunting allowed Tight and flat, very few stress lines Flat with bright ink reflectivity White to off-white, very slight tears

Very Fine/ Near Mint

 Square and sharp with slight blunting, no creases Tight and flat, small accumulation of minor stress lines Almost flat with slightly diminished ink reflectivity White to off-white to cream, very minor tears

Very Fine

 Square with minute wear Almost flat, minor color break on bends, very slight staple tears allowed Mostly flat with minute wear showing, no color break on minor creases Off-white to cream, very few minor tears

Fine/ Very Fine

 Light blunting, minor creasing Very slight spine roll, moderate color break, slight staple tears Mostly flat, possible minor creases with color break Off-white to cream to tan, minor tears
