This is a pair of cast bronze Tudor Revival
candle sconces from the 1920s salvaged from a Chicago residence. They are stamped “Empire” and also have a patent
date of “Mar 29, 21”. Overall width 8”,
height to top of candle cover 9 1/2”, height to top of bulb 13”, backplate is 3
6/8”w x 12 1/8”h, projection. We will
replace switch on one light that is missing the turn piece unless you want the
switches bypassed, then we will replace with a brass finial. Black polychrome paint is in decent
condition, with some loss as shown.
These are heavy cast bronze lights that will come to you with updated
wiring. Flame bulbs not included.
