A fantastic Fischel bistro chair from the 1940s. No label underneath as it had been painted completely pink and the label was painted over and came off in the stripping process. All other examples we've found of this pattern on the seats has been made by Fischel.

Beautiful design, lightweight with beautiful alligator or crocodile skin style etching to the piece - stunning for a stylish home.
It has been stripped back to the original wood and finished with multiple coats of Danish Oil.

PALLET / LOCAL DELIVERY

Any large items bought from us can be dispatched using a nationwide pallet delivery service with prices starting from £49.95. this is just an ESTIMATE so we kindly ask you contact us for a quote prior to buying so you know the actual costs. We are based on the South Coast so the delivery costs tend to be higher the farther north, east or west you are from us. 
Eg.  to Cambridgeshire could be around £75, to Wales around £70-£80, Scotland and the highlands up to around £90-£100+. London postcodes are higher so if you're in London it is best to contact us first for a quote.  

 

If you are reasonably local (we allow a radius of 15 miles of SO22) we are happy to deliver it personally in our van for a small fee.

Pallet delivery is a kerbside drop service only. The item will be delivered to you on a pallet and wrapped to the pallet, the delivery driver is unable to help with lifting once the pallet is delivered due to their insurance restrictions. Your purchase will be taken as close to your door as the driver can get it, but in reality it is a kerb side drop service so you may need help at your end to move it to where you want it. If you live above ground floor level the pallet will be placed as close to your main door at ground level. 

 

We are happy to combine multiple purchases from ourselves to be sent on the same pallet as long as they all fit on the pallet/pallets you are paying for. It could be lots of smaller items or a few larger items. the maximum pallet sizes are 1200mm x 1000mm with a max height of 2000mm. (1.2m x 1m x 2m high). which is quite a lot of space so the more you buy the cheaper the delivery works out. 

 

PAYMENT

Our preferred payment method, if having the item delivered to you is Paypal or credit/debit card over the phone (using iZettle payment service). If collecting in person then we would prefer cash on collection. 

 

COLLECTION IN PERSON

We usually expect purchases to be paid for and collected within 7 days. Should you require longer to collect please let us know so we can work something out. We are available to help you load up when you arrive at no extra cost. We can also wrap your purchase for a small fee should you wish to send your own courier. 

 

DISPATCH AND DELIVERY

Once payment is received your purchase will be safely packaged/palleted and booked for delivery with one of our trusted carriers. We have a very reliable and efficient pallet courier and usually dispatch pallets daily (Monday to Friday), so it is likely your purchase will turn up sooner than expected. Once your item is booked by us we will contact you through eBay to let you know, and in most cases the delivery company will contact you prior to delivery to arrange a suitable day and time to avoid missed deliveries. 

It is the buyers responsibility to ensure someone is home to sign for the delivery as the courier may charge for re-delivery. Saturday and out of normal working hours deliveries are available but do cost extra).
