Original World War II aircraft recognition model
USAF P 47D Thunderbolt

Rare vintage aircraft recognition / identification model,
of an P-47 D Thunderbolt later bubble canopy model, as used by the United States Air Force.
This model was manufactured by Cruver, in the United States of America, and was produced in an early type of solid plastic, called cellulose acetate resin. The model is marked according on its underside, with the manufactures C in circle stamp logo, U.S.A. and dated 4 / 45.
This type of recognition model, would have been used as a training aid for pilots and air crews, throughout the Second World War.
The model is in good condition with some signs of age, and related wear only, please see pictures for details.
