1940s Vintage Dressing Gown

Midweight persimmon red rayon crepe, made even more elegant by sweeping soutache pale sage green and honey in color.

No designer label, but the quality suggests commercially made.

Shirred shoulder, a padded sleeve head for a small puff at shoulder, elegant belled sleeves. The front waist has a thick sash on either side that you are meant to draw together and tie. The skirt is full and flowing, with a heavy fluid feel.

Picture 7 is the most accurate color.
