This popular motorised track cleaner is perfect for maintaining the smooth operation of your layout. It works in five ways to keep the surface of your tracks clean from dirt and muck. It has sprung pads underneath the body that can be fitted with either sanding or polishing pads that physically clean your tracks. It holds a reservoir of cleaning fluid that it washes your tracks clean via a sponge under the carriage and it has a brush and vacum section that cleans up any loose particle on or near your tracks. It has a rubbish holder where it accumulates all the detritus it cleans up from your track, this requires emptying occasionally.

The motor within the unit powers, at the modellers choice, either the vacuum function or the sprung abrasive/polishing head. There is an under body brush for basic removal of dirt/fluff etc, and a reservoir that can be filled with any non flammable, plastic friendly track cleaning solution that feeds down onto a sponge (included) that rubs the rail head (to be used before the sprung buffing head).

This model is not self propelled, it needs to be towed behind a locomotive, as 'motorised' only refers to the internal motor driving the vacum cleaner motor and spinning the cleaning heads and not the movement of the cleaning carriage.
