What is Advantix?

Advantix for dogs is an effective flea and tick treatment. The spot-on acts fast and start killing fleas and ticks within a few minutes of administration. It stops fleas from feeding on dogs within 3 to 5 minutes. Advantix controls flea population and prevents flea infestations. The active ingredient stops fleas from biting dogs and controls flea allergy dermatitis. The spot-on treatment not only kills ticks but also repels ticks. Advantix also kills chewing lice and protect dogs against harmful parasitic treatments. The spot-on is water-resistant so remain effective even a dog goes for swim or bath. 

How Advantix Works?

Advantix contains two active ingredients Imidacloprid and Permethrin. Imidacloprid has repelling action called ‘hot foot’ activity on ticks, which repels them from sticking on a treated dog for 4 weeks. Permethrin directly attacks nervous system of parasites and totally blocks sodium channels, which are helpful for nerve impulses. This process kills pests. Advantix starts killing about 98.5% ticks within 2 hours of application. Working for a whole month, it treats and controls fleas and ticks, and repels other external parasites.

How to use:

• Weigh your dog before starting the treatment.
• Make your dog stand in a comfortable position.
• Part the fur at the shoulder blades, making a visible spot.
• Break open the seal and place the tip of the tube at the visible skin.
• Squeeze out the entire content of the tube at the spot.
• Ensure that the content does not touch the hair.
• Let the solution dry.
• Every month repeat the treatment on the same day.
• Do not allow the treated dogs to swim and bath until 48 hours of application.
