Offering an antique garden architectural piece from the Victorian era. This came out of my great aunt's house and she inherited the elephant from her mother.
This heavy, metal elephant lived for decades in a conservatory garden where he alternated between holding a pillar candle and a small potted ivy.
He measures 17 1/4" in height - is 12 1/2" long and 7 1/2" wide. He is solid and weighs 20 lbs.
I do not know what metal this is but it is heavy and has lasted over a century.
The elephant is ornate and beautifully detailed with a tall howdah on his back. He has age appropriate wear but no real structural damage.
