A real collectors item from a 2009, a collaboration between heritage footwear label Norman Walsh and the London based high end fashion designer Margaret Howell.
The MHL trainer was based on the time honoured Walsh PB Elite X’treme fell running shoe, which uses ultra light weight and fast drying water resistant material.
With an exclusive use of a material called Xymid, that gives extra stability and protection to the toe, heel and instep, the shoe combines technical functionality with Margaret Howell’s modernist design ethos.
The trainers were available in two colour-way combinations unique to Margaret Howell and available exclusively from Margaret Howell stores and MHL online. The MHL logo is stitched onto the tongue with a Walsh authenticity label is discretely on the reverse.
In excellent condition, very clean and bright with minimal signs of wear to the material upper. Some wear to the soles. Very light and comfortable. A reluctant sale from the Room 606 design collection. Extremely rare.
