Victorian/antique "Double Fan Band" pattern glass salt/pepper shaker. It was manufactured by Dithridge & Company beginning in 1897. The lid does not appear to be original and doesn't fit well. Excellent condition glass, with no chips, no cracks, and  has some rim roughness - normal for these shakers. There are some spots of roughness that can be felt with the fingers, but it may be something on the surface that can be cleaned off. We have not attempted to remove it. The shaker is glass in a lovely opaque opal white color. This is a wonderful example of Early American Pattern Glass, and a great addition to your collection, or a start to a new collection!
