code: 2021-Jeanne

an antique, 19th century, silvered bronze, wax seal stamp

the handle is formed as a statuette of the armoured

Joan of Arc, the Maid of Orleans

Jeanne d'Arc, la Pucelle d'Orleans

casted with many detail,

she is holding a sword with her left hand and a plumed helmet in her right hand,

she stands next to a tree trunk, on a pedestal.

The matrix shows two coat of arms,

presumably an alliance / marriage weapon / crest / blason:

the female coat of arms is of the french, Picardie family, the House / Counts / Seigneurs of

Clermont Beauvaisis - Nesle

or written/known as Clairemont Beauvoisin Beauvais Neelle and in several variations,

but all descendents of the House of Bourbon,

we see

a shield of red / Gules, semy of clovers and two fishes / bars, back to back.

The male coat of arms we could not trace down, we see

a shield of Or / gold with a tree - a pine or palmtree, or even a fern ?, between two stars.

We did find the family de Lalive / La Live, seigneur de Bellegarde d' Epinay / de Prunay,

but they seem to have a silver / Argent shield (see last picture)

As supporters / tenants there are two Savages

holding a club in the outer hand and lifting a crown with seven pearls above both coat of arms,

they are standing on a pedestal / plinth.

height of the object: ca.  8 cm / ca. 3.1 inch
