The Ewing House, a late eighteenth-century combination of residence and shop, was named for its owner, Ebenezer Ewing, a Scotch merchant. This whitewashed clapboard structure is an example of colonial-style architecture, loved for its simplicity and order. Today, the gambrel-roofed house on Francis Street is used as a guest house for visitors to Colonial Williamsburg.


This house is one in a collection based on the historic restoration at Colonial Williamsburg. It is in excellent condition. Approximately 4” long, 4” wide and 4” high.
