The Scorpion HK-5020 motors are built with 10mm hardened steel shafts that will last through countless hours of flying fun, but occasionally, on a "Less than Perfect" landing, you may bend or break one. For these occasions, we offer factory replacement shafts for all the HK-5020 series Scorpion Helicopter Motors.
This extended shaft for the HK-5020 series motors measures 10mm in diameter, and is 98.8mm long. The pinion end of this shaft is ground down to 6mm to allow the user to install 6mm pinion gears. The shaft kit will also fit other brushless motors that require a 10mm shaft of this length. The shafts can be cut shorter with a Dremel tool and a cut-off wheel if necessary to fit other motors.
Note: The shafts in the Scorpion motors are a slight press fit into the aluminum front housing. The shafts will not just slide out when the setscrews are removed. They need to be pressed out in a bearing press, or in a drill press, with the front housing of the motor supported in a block of wood to prevent warping the front housing.

UK mainland deliveries
Items less than 2 Kg will be sent by Royal Mail 1st class or 1st class recorded for items costing more than £25 Ex VAT and Special Delivery for items costing more than £50 Ex VAT.
UK 1st class minimum charge is £1.50, up to £3.00 for parcels up to 2 Kg. UK Recorded delivery costs £3.50 up to 2 Kg.
UK Special Delivery £6.50 for goods up to 2 Kg.
For items in excess of 2 Kg and up to 20 Kg a charge between £6.50 and £7.50 will be made (dependent upon the dimensions of the parcel) and goods will be posted by courier for next working day delivery by UPS.
Overseas and Non-UK Mainland deliveries
Depending on the weight/size/value of your order, it may attract a higher delivery charge. These orders are usually sent by Royal Mail Airsure or International Signed For (ISF). You will be notified of any extra charge, and required to confirm you accept the extra charge (which will be charged to you at cost) before the goods will be shipped.
Items in excess of 2 Kg will be sent by UPS or Fedex. and will be charged at cost. Prices for UPS deliveries are now calculated accurately online for your country of delivery. This is not always guaranteed to be next day delivery, depending on your location.
You will be billed in GBP. US Dollar and Euro prices are shown on our website for your help and guidance only.
Delivery Schedule
We usually ship all orders the same day (Monday to Friday), subject to the order being received by us before 4pm. International orders may take longer.
We will take great care to ensure that you receive your goods in perfect condition. However, if your goods are damaged or faulty, please call us on 01455 637762 within 3 working days of receipt of your order. We will either replace the goods or arrange a refund as appropriate. We will also pay you the cost of the return postage. You will need to include a covering letter in the package stating the reason for return, and you might need to obtain a proof of posting certificate from your Post Office for us to be able to refund your postage costs.
