Stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Diamond Ring c1897
UK Ring Size 'P 1/2', or US Ring Size '8'

A stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Diamond Ring dating to 1897, which is alternately set with seven Diamonds (please study detailed close up photographs, which form an integral part of the ring's description).

This wonderful Antique Ring, which weighs 2.8 grams, has a Plain 'D' Shaped Shank leading to the beautifully Ornate Gallery set with seven small Diamonds. As shown fine quality Victorian Ring is stamped with an idistinct Maker's Mark together with a full British Hallmark confirming that the ring is made from solid 18ct Gold and that it was assayed in Chester in 1897.

The ring is sized as a UK Ring Size 'P 1/2', which equates to a US Ring Size '8' - as with almost all antique rings the band is slightly ovalized i.e it is not perfectly round and it measures slightly differently on the gauge depending on how it is positioned, however this will not affect the ring when worn.

Overall the ring is in great antique condition - as shown, it has been re-sized historically & has wear commensurate with age and having been a treasured piece of jewellery.

In summary, this is a stunning Victorian 18ct Gold Diamond Ring dating to 1897 - it is quite simply sublime sublime.
