This is one of a kind and obviously only one (1) in stock as I start
this.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck here, shipping is super cheap because it can JUST fit in flat
rate, poor mailman because this is a 19 pound brick due to the massive
old school iron/copper transformer.

WOW! *#*^#$@*#$&)^%@*!
For myself, I just found a huge flight case sealed in the bottom/back
of the warehouse for 10-15 years that I THOUGHT I'd checked but was
mistaken, and found two SORELY needed giant +5v 200A switchers that
used to be rare, now I can't even get them anymore, and I need these
crucially for my business.
And for you, I found loads of new old stock new in box and tested good
used power supplies from Lambda, Power-One, and other brands. You can
see them in the view inside this 350 pound case after I cracked it open
and removed the top layer of power supplies to expose the rare and
valuable Lambdas.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
For sale in this listing is the power supply named in the title
TESTED GOOD Pro Audio Studio Dual Lambda Massive Linear Power Supplies
+/-18v DC
including the LM CC18 +18v DC @ 5.5A
and
LOS-Y-20 +20v DC @ 2.4A (but it is widely adjustable and that one is
wired via the included terminal block setup that puts the - output as
the output and the + output wired to the - output of the other PSU, so
this setup makes +18v @ 5.5A and -18v @ 2.4A, but really, if you turn
that down to -18v as here, it's probably capable of sourcing 2.75A,
that's the case with the Power-One +/-12v that when adjusted out to
+/-15v they have 1.2A instead of 1.5A
manufactured approximately 1990s (based on component date codes)
and the whole heavy duty 3-prong AC cord, banana jack DC outputs,
wiring, standoffs, etc.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm moving to sell certain things I now know I won't need for my
continuing business and while looking for them in the new warehouse
space opened 2/2021, I have found loads of items I should sell that I
forgot I had, like these power supplies. Good move on my part, these
are valuable now and mine are the best on eBay, absolutely sealed
airtight in padded flight cases for decades, relatively cool and
completely dry, no mold, mildew, or even oxidation on these. No soggy
soft cardboard.
(Note to self: If this doesn't sell for adequate money, use as an
upgrade replacement power supply setup for one of the MX9000 mixes
where the PSUs are known to fail.)
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please see my other listings for many other power supplies from Lambda,
Power-One, etc. from this case, sealed airtight for at least 16 years,
all excellent and all tested good, not just then, but now in 2021 as
you can see in my photos where I am running them with AC power and
measuring the output with a DMM and ensuring there is no hum coming off
the transformers. I will be listing more as soon as possible. I'm
trying to be disciplined here, every time I have to be at the
warehouse, I bring the newly listed ones back to put in the case until
sold, and bring home as many more as I can carry in one load to the
truck.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
For sale here in this listing is the Lambda LM CC18 +18v DC @ 5.5A
massive linear power supply and the Lambda LOS-Y-20 +20v DC @ 2.4A
power supply.
That second one is widely adjustable down to 18v here, and wired via
the included terminal block setup that puts the - output as the output
and the + output wired to the - output of the other PSU, so this setup
makes the perfect +18v @ 5.5A and -18v @ 2.4A.
But really, if you turn that down to -18v as here, it's probably
capable of sourcing 2.75A, that's the case with the Power-One +/-12v
that when adjusted out to +/-15v they have 1.2A instead of 1.5A.
This is an absolutely killer find, previously tested good used stock
like this, and while I'd presume it to be good, this is such super
vintage that I want to personally bench test all these for my clients,
so I broke the seal (the warranty expired before you knew who Monica
Lewinsky was) and connected it to fused AC power.
This has perfectly working and adjustable +/-18v DC as you can see in
the photos. That was the voltage immediately on power on, and after
running it 15 minutes.
The date codes suggest these were new in the 80s or 90s, but I think
it's just a very late build of a 1970s or 1980s design.
I just brought this one home to photograph and test for eBay, and this
will be put right back in the same airtight case in the back of the
warehouse for the duration of the listing (I will not sell these
cheaply), and I flipped this 350 pound case over so the wheels dolly
can come off easily, strapped it, and chain hoisted it to the ceiling
and set it on top of a larger flight case on good Colson casters, so
I'll be easily able to get in and out of this case as needed, unlike
the last 10-15 years when it had 1,000 pounds stacked on top of it and
I didn't even know what was in there (I thought it was a CRT and I got
this out because I'm selling off the CRT monitors now).
As these pieces sell, I will retrieve them from the warehouse and pack
them at for shipping.
Aside from being slightly dirty and dusty with some chipped paint, this
is in excellent condition internally and externally, just look at the
photos, with all parts present and working, checked and tested today.
The history of this is that it came from The Enterprise recording
studios, it was sitting in the shop when I took it as part of the huge
Synhouse buyout (four F-250 truckloads) in 2004-2006, so I don't know
if it had been primarily used as a bench power supply for the testing
and repair of vintage pro audio or used in one of their studio rooms.
The Enterprise was always buying very, very vintage items from Europe,
etc., things that didn't have world power and weren't easily
convertible so they had to make their own power supplies for them, and
using EQ and mic preamp modules from classic vintage mixers and having
to provide good, clean analog power for those, too.
This has banana jacks for the clean, regulated DC power outputs, as
noted in the photo gallery. I spent almost two hours inspecting and
testing this one.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
What's included:
Lambda LOM CC18 +18v DC @ 5.5A power supply
Lambda LOS-Y-20 +20v DC @ 2.4A
the whole heavy duty 3-prong AC cord, banana jack DC outputs, wiring,
standoffs, etc.
What's not included:
Anything else.

Shipping
This is a very heavy item, valuable and delicate, but will be carefully
packed for shipping.
A local pickup would be nice...
Good luck here, shipping is super cheap because it can JUST fit in flat
rate, poor mailman because this is a 19 pound brick due to the massive
old school iron/copper transformer.
For safety in shipping, I will unscrew one screw to be able to wrap
both pieces with padding in the box and not snap any screws or
standoffs. BTW, there are for standoffs but only one is screwed INTO
the larger power supply, the other three are used as legs. However you
use these, you should drill and mount all four standoffs securely.
Free local pickup in the Los Feliz district of L.A. is okay if you can
work around my busy schedule.
