This is a fancy nickel plated cast brass antique tumbler & shell soap holder c1900 that was fabricated by Silver Mfg. Co. out of Brooklyn, NY.  It is not marked, but  I have had others the same as this that were.  This one has been completely restored in that I had it replated in nickel.  It measures 4 1/8"w x 6 1/2"h x 3" projection.  There are two pieces on either side of the cup holder that look like they could have held toothbrushes, but I believe they are for a razor strop as they are even too narrow to hold the earliest toothbrushes from 1900 or before.  In any case, a very unique piece that will dress up your otherwise really boring period bathroom.
