ORDERING

To order directly simply select the mesh that you require and then the sheet size. We should be able to take the mesh straight from the shelf to cut to size and ship out very quickly

The sizes are referenced as follows:

'8 LPI x 0.63mm Wire = 2.55mm Hole' means 8 Lines Per Inch x 0.63 Wire Thickness = 2.55 Hole Size

The more holes / wires per inch the finer the mesh

Choose whichever mesh size from the following options from the dropdown:

8 x 0.63mm = 2.55mm / 64%
16 x 0.355mm = 1.23mm / 60%
30 x 0.28mm = 0.57mm / 45%
42 x 0.1mm = 0.51mm / 70%
60 x 0.16mm = 0.263mm / 39%
100 x 0.05mm = 0.204mm / 65%

This mesh is heavy duty for a copper mesh but it is still very easy to cut. It is very open as a mesh spec (64% is a high open area percentage). It is therefore ideal for use as an RFI screen and many other engineering applications

Pure Copper

This material is made of natural copper. We cannot claim that it is 100% copper as there will be trace amounts of other elements involved.
99.99% is as pure as you can get.
As a natural copper this product will become verdigris over time.
Copper is a very soft metal, so it is easy to cut and form.

Plain Weave

Plain weave woven wire cloth is used for the majority of wire cloth woven by The Mesh Company. Each warp wire crosses alternately above and below every weft wire and vice versa.

Warp and weft wires are normally of the same diameter.

Plain weaves are used for the majority of commercial applications and for filtration where a high flow rate is required.

Availability

This roll has small fingerprints on it from the production process. This can happen with copper mesh. The prints are caused by the touch of skin, which is part of the natural process that can see copper become verdigris in time.

The mesh itself is perfect, but these infrequent fingerprints mean that we can sell it at a reduced rate to our eBay customers.
