Artisan Flapper Applique on Plum Color Cross Body Purse, Handbag. I created the appliqué based on a vintage fashion illustration. I I have hand cut and painted her. Her flowers are “cigarette silks” that were included with tobacco in the early 1900s. The small cross body purse on which I mounted her was handmade by a maker in Poland. The purse is approximately 8” wide by 6.5” high and a little over an inch deep. The fabric and chain strap is 52” long. It is lightweight and perfect for carrying your phone and a few essentials.
