Do not buy this item if you think it includes a 500H head. It does not. This sale is for the ADAPTER ONLY!The head is only shown so that one can see how it attaches! Message me if your over seas before purchasing.

There is NO HEAD INCLUDED IN THIS SALE!!

We unfortunately no longer ship to Germany.   I have not done the required paperwork & have not chosen to incur additional business costs. at this time.  I may find someone in the UK that can sell directly to Germany and be under the Euro umbrella of trade if it is legal. I will report to you my world buyers, my progress when any is made.

This sale is for the Adapter that goes from a Ilford MG (MultiGrade)500H to  to a DURST L-1200 condenser. adapter only. The head is just to show how it mounts to the ILFORD 500  head. Only the adapter is included in this sale.  I designed this adapter to only use existing Durst Factory stock screws to attache the ILFORD IMG Head to the Durst BIMACAP condenser head, which uses FEMOCON CONDENSERS. I do not offer the Adapter for diffusion at this time.

However, one need only place a diffuser in between the film and the closest femocon surface to the negative.

At this time I only offer for sale the FEMOCON Adapter For mounting a ILFORD 500H head onto the Durst L-1200 Condenser head, AKA Durst Bimacap Femocon B&W condenser head. This is a ILFORD Multi-grade 500 H adapter for the Durst L-1200 4X5 Condenser head.  This adapter allows one to Mount an ILFORD Multi-grade 500 Head  (Light Source) ILFORD 500H onto the Durst 4X5 Condenser head that uses the Durst FEMOCON

condensers.

I only have 2 in stock at this time.  Your head will need a 6X7 Ilford Light Mix box & registration plate.  The 6X7 mix box has a light distribution pattern that just covers the Durst Femocon 152 or the top Femo Condenser when printing  up to 4"X5" negatives. I have not tested the adapter using the 35mm light mix box. In a perfect world one would mount 4 adjustable screws that would enable the projected light  circle (Beam) to change. illustrated example, ie larger or smaller based on the distance between the diffuser of the 6X7 light mix box and THE TOP SURFACE OF THE 152 FEMOCON CONDENSER.

When mounting the adapter to your Durst Bima-cap or L-1200 condenser head, you remove the mirror housing completely, and store in a cool dry place for possible future use. The top front screw uses the existing threaded hole for mounting. There are 2 other mount points that use 3mm screws in the original factory position.  One is on the right & one on the left top.

Message me any questions you may have.  Thanks for looking at my Ilford Multi-Grade 500H to Durst L-1200 adapter for Femocon condensers only.  NOT A DIFFUSION adapter,  One could always place a diffuser on top of the Femocon condenser for a  solution.

There are OPAL glass diffusers  sellers on ebay. They just cut down on your light output.  If you are looking for more light output from either the 150 Watt per color or the ELH 300 watts per color head for both Green & Blue. Search for ILFORD HEAT FILTERS on ebay.  My hot mirror heat filters give you 1 full f-stop more light than the stock 1993 Ilford heat filters.

Sincerely,

Jay Overmoen
