Description: Nice 19th century flask with typical wear and
no major issues. This is an ovoid style flask with two sides that are pinched or
pressed inwards. The spout is intact with a few glaze chips here and there. The
body has a dark brown and manganese glaze with light wear to the flat sides.
There are a few glaze chips or inconsistencies going down the body. The base
edge has typical wear. There is one shallow chip just above the base edge
measuring .223" in width. If I had to guess where this one was made I would
assume somewhere in New England. This would make a great addition to any 19th
century redware collection.
