This is a rare original proof card made during the production of the 1966 Topps Batman trading card set, which came during the heyday of Batmania resulting from the 1960's Batman live action TV show starring Adam West and Burt Ward. This is a blank-back proof for the In The Bat Lab card. This is one of the best cards in the entire set, with an awesome image of Batman in action! The card measures approximately 2 1/2" by 3 1/2", and comes in a plastic card holder. The proof has irregularly cut edges. Older Batman production pieces are always hard to find, and items from the mid 1960's time frame of the cult-classic campy series (which preceded the return to Batman's darker roots with the Neal Adams Dark Knight detective of the 1970's), are particularly sought-after. It would look great prominently displayed, and would be a key piece in the collection of any Batman fan.
