It will provide coverage and protection for the upper legs in the front, the groin area, and surrounding regions. If you plan to have a full knights clad armor, this piece completes the set, and also will provide the authentic look of appeal. It can be worn with limited coverage armor as well, and Kings often wore Tassets along with a breastplate or cuirass.
